User data deletion

Delete your account (app or website)

If you can sign in to FoundYa, you can delete your account and associated personal data from the mobile app or this website.

On the website

  1. Sign in at Account settings (open the menu or profile, then choose Account settings).
  2. Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

In the FoundYa app (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the FoundYa app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account (or your profile / settings area where account options are listed).
  3. Choose Delete Account and confirm when prompted.

This permanently removes your FoundYa account and associated data we hold for that account, subject to any limited retention required by law (for example billing or fraud-prevention records).

Social sign-in (Google, Facebook, and others)

Signing in with Google, Facebook, or another provider links that identity to your FoundYa account. Deleting your FoundYa account (as above) removes the data we store for your use of our Services. It does not delete your Google or Facebook account; you manage those separately with each provider.

If you have already removed FoundYa's access in your Google or Facebook account settings but still need your FoundYa data deleted, email us using the address below and we will verify and process your request.

To request deletion of your personal data, or if you cannot sign in to the app or website, contact:

Include the email address associated with your account (or your user identifier if you know it). We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a request. We will respond within a reasonable time in line with applicable privacy laws.

What we delete

After a successful account deletion or approved request, we remove or anonymise personal data tied to your account as described in our Privacy Policy, except where we must retain certain information to meet legal obligations.
