Register an NFC Tag
Link your FoundYa NFC tag to your pet's profile using the mobile app or web.
Registering your NFC tag connects it to your pet's digital profile. Once registered, anyone who taps the tag will see your pet's information.
Using the mobile app (recommended)
- Open the FoundYa app and go to the Tags tab
- Tap Register Tag
- Hold the NFC tag against the back of your phone
- The app will read the tag's unique ID automatically
- Select which pet to link the tag to
Using the web
If you don't have the mobile app, you can register manually:
- Go to Dashboard > Tags > Register Tag
- Enter the tag's UID (printed on the tag packaging or found via an NFC reader app)
- Choose the NFC mode and link to a pet

Both types get push notifications, finder messaging, and lost mode.
Linking to a pet
After registration, you can link or unlink the tag from any pet at any time from the Tags list.
