Logging Care Activities
Record walks, meals, medications, and other daily care tasks for your pets.
The care activity log gives your household a shared record of who did what and when - especially useful for multi-carer households, pet sitters, or pets with specific routines.
Logging an activity
- Go to the Activity tab
- Tap Log Activity
- Select the pet and activity type (walk, meal, medication, grooming, or custom)
- Add optional notes - e.g. "30 min walk, seemed tired", "Refused dinner"
- Save the entry
The activity is timestamped and attributed to your account so your household knows who logged it.
Per-pet timeline
Each pet has its own activity timeline, accessible from:
- Activity → select a pet in the dashboard
- Pet detail page → Activity tab
The timeline shows all logged activities in chronological order, giving you a complete care history at a glance.
If you have a pet sitter, invite them to your household temporarily. They can log activities so you can check in on your pet's routine while you're away.
What to log
You can log anything, but common uses include:
- Walks and exercise - duration, distance, behaviour notes
- Meals - what they ate, how much, any appetite changes
- Medications - what was given, dosage, any reactions
- Grooming - baths, nail trims, brushing
- Observations - "limping slightly", "very energetic today", "loose stool"
These notes can be invaluable context for your vet.
