Notification Preferences
Control which notifications you receive and how they're delivered.
FoundYa sends notifications for scan alerts, lost mode updates, household activity, and reminders. You can customise which ones you receive.
Managing preferences
Go to Account Settings → Notification Preferences in the dashboard or app to adjust your settings.
Notification categories

| Lost mode | Updates on active lost mode searches, Sentinel activity | No - always on |
| Household | Invitations, member changes | Yes |

| Community | Found pet reports near you, Sentinel alerts | Yes |
Lost mode notifications cannot be muted. These are critical safety alerts that ensure you're always informed when your missing pet's tag is scanned.
Push notifications
Push notifications require the FoundYa mobile app. Make sure notifications are enabled in your phone's system settings for the FoundYa app.
If you're not receiving push notifications:
- Check that the FoundYa app has notification permission in your phone's settings
- Make sure you're signed in to the correct account
- Check that the notification category isn't muted in the app
